Fans are ready for the return of Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney to the buzzy HBO series, but one person who isn’t returning to Euphoria Season 3 is Barbie Ferreira, and she has a pretty good reason why.
The series takes place after a time-jump following the show’s sophomore season, and it’ll find Rue (Zendaya) working for drug kingpin Laurie (Martha Kelly) to pay off the debt that she owes her.
Meanwhile, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are getting married, and Maddy (Alexa Demie) is working in Hollywood. The show has clearly outgrown its original high school setting, and so has one member of the cast.
Barbie Ferreira isn’t in Euphoria Season 3, and part of it comes down to Kat’s story in Season 2.
